Corns and Callouses

We Have The Solution for Corns and Calluses!

Corns and calluses can be the source of major discomfort. Corns are small, circular lesions commonly found on a patient's foot. It looks like a corn kernel and appears from repeated pressure and rubbing on their skin. Calluses, on the other hand, have a similar cause, but a different look. Rubbing, due to a shoe or sock, will cause the skin to thicken as protection. Both lesions will vary in size and only sometimes become painful.

Dr. Bill Releford will review each case to decide the best treatment method. This service includes an evaluation of the cause to find a way to ease the pain and prevent a recurrence of the ailment(s). That may include changing the footwear to one which does not rub against the areas and aggravating it again.
